And just as before, you can connect your favorite micro-controller to your computer to view and manipulate your data.

If you don’t see the micro-controller you use here, don’t worry; if it has a comm port - or more commonly, a USB port that emulates a comm port, it will probably work - as there is no other hardware to buy like other software of this kind.

One downside to MakerPlot-J is that it doesn’t work on cell phones or tablets – and it’s not backward compatible with your current version of MakerPlot, either.   Plus, it doesn’t have anti-gravity or artificial intelligence, and it won’t deliver packages to your door from a drone – but you can test these things with MakerPlot-J  :)

MakerPlot-J is in its infancy, but we want you to help it grow.  Just like a baby there’s a lot of room for growth including many more features that will be added.

This is where you come in – that is, to help it grow by using it and suggesting improvements.

So, what will you make with MakerPlot-J
